THE MALI GORZOWIACY WON THE 1ST PLACE ON THE FESTIVAL IFDF IN INDONESIA!
The Folk Dance Group "Mali Gorzowiacy" from Poland IS WINNER of the INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE FESTIVAL "Lets' dance in Bali the land of dance", which took place in Bali, Indonesia 4-18.10.2016.
The group won 1st place among 13 teams from all over the world!!!
We appreciate to invite our group for that wonderful event! Special thanks to Mr. Wahyudi Sumantoro, Director of FIDAF in Asia and the festival director.
It is a great success of the team and staff!!! 20 dancers of Gorzow group were competing for many days to win. Krakowiak turned out to be a good choice for the final dance.

The festival is supported by the World Culture Forum. As an initiative of the Indonesian government that has been supported by UNESCO, the forum has gathered experts and scholars to collect best practices that have been used to support sustainable development around the world. Our group took part in the closing concert of WCF. It was a great concert, where all artists and audience had the great joy to attend! The concert took place at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Denpasar in the presence of Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia prof. Muhajir Effendy and the Director-General for Culture Hilmar Farid, as well as ministers, diplomats, ambassadors of many countries, among which we met Polish Ambassador in Indonesia Mr. Tadeusz Szumowski with his wife. It was short, but warm meeting. The concert developed by choreographers from Jakarta, which included dancers of all folk groups of our festival, it was the culmination of several days of joint work. Thank you for a wonderful experience in an unforgettable dance gala!
